When building the forehand as a weapon, where would you put more emphasis for players?

IVAN LENDL: Forehand is being used to control the points (even by players with a great backhand) – therefore you have to be able to finish the point with it. Drills hitting the forehand hard from middle of the court are very beneficial.

 

Situation is your weapon is misfiring during the match. What do you do? IVAN LENDL: I was lucky to have more weapons than just the forehand. In general, if any shot is not working as well as required, you should back off a bit (pace, targets or both), after you feel better about it, you can pick it up again.
